Arguments For

[hh]Yes, the world will end May 21, 2011[/hh]

Bible teaches that the world will end on May-21-2011.
Here is the prove:

Below is the biblical timeline of history followed by one proof (stated earlier: that 7,000 years from the flood to the very day is May 21, 2011). I'll post other proofs, but they follow this timeline and for anyone who reads the bible, I would encourage you to check what I've typed with the bible.

Gen 5:1 This [is] the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

Gen 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

Adam created on the sixth day of creation.

Gen 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

Seth was born 130 years after creation and was a direct son because the phrase called his name is used which is qara shem.

Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

Gen 5:6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

When Seth was 105 years old, Enos was born because in Gen 4:25 and Gen 5:3 the phrase qara shem is used. Now we are 235 years after creation.

Gen 5:7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

Gen 5:9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:

When Enos was 90 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Cainan. The year that Enos died, Cainan was born.

Gen 5:10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

Cainan was born 1,140 years after creation (235 + 905).

Gen 5:12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:

When Cainan was 70 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Mahalaleel. The year that Cainan died, Mahalaleel was born.

Gen 5:13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

Mahalaleel was born 2,050 years after creation (1,140 + 910).

Gen 5:15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

When Mahalaleel was 65 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Jared. The year that Mahalaleel died, Jared was born.

Gen 5:16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

Jared was born 2,945 years after creation (2,050 + 895).

Gen 5:18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:

When Jared was 162 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Enoch. The year that Jared died, Enoch was born.

Gen 5:19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

Enoch was born 3,907 years after creation (2,945 + 962).

Gen 5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

When Enoch was 65 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Methuselah. The year that God took Enoch, Methuselah was born.

Gen 5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him.

Methuselah was born 4,272 years after creation (3,907 + 365).

Gen 5:25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

When Methuselah was 187 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Lamech. The year that Methuselah died, Lamech was born.

Gen 5:26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

Lamech was born 5,241 years after creation (4,272 + 969).

Gen 5:28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

Gen 5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This [same] shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

Noah was born 182 years after Lamech and was a direct son because the phrase called his name is used which is qara shem. Noah was born 5,423 years after creation (5,241 + 182).

Gen 5:30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

Gen 5:31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

Gen 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Since there were eight souls in the ark (Gen 7:13, 1Pe 3:20), we know that Shem was a direct son.

Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Noah was 600 years old when the flood came and the flood occurred 6,023 years after creation (5,423 + 600).

Gen 11:10 These [are] the generations of Shem: Shem [was] an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

Gen 11:11 And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

The flood lasted one year and ten days (Gen 7:11, Gen 8:13-14) and since the flood began 6,023 years after creation, it therefore ended 6,024 years after creation. The term after the flood means after the beginning of the flood (Gen 7:11, Gen 9:28-29), so Shem was 100 years old 2 years after the beginning of the flood and this means Shem would have been 100 years old 6,025 years after creation (6,023 year of the flood plus 2 years). Shem was born 5,925 years after creation and died 600 years later at 6,525 years after creation. Arphaxad was born 6,525 years after creation (5,925+ 600).

Gen 11:12 And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:

When Arphaxad was 35 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Salah. The year that Arphaxad died, Salah was born.

Gen 11:13 And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

Salah was born 6,963 years after creation (6,525 + 35 + 403).

Gen 11:14 And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:

When Salah was 30 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Eber. The year that Salah died, Eber was born.

Gen 11:15 And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

Eber was born 7,396 years after creation (6,963 + 30 + 403).

Gen 11:16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:

When Eber was 34 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Peleg. The year that Eber died, Peleg was born.

Gen 11:17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.

Peleg was born 7,860 years after creation (7,396 + 34 + 430).

Gen 11:18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:

When Peleg was 30 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Reu. The year that Peleg died, Reu was born.
Gen 11:19 And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.

Reu was born 8,099 years after creation (7,860 + 30 + 209).

Gen 11:20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug:

When Reu was 32 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Serug. The year that Reu died, Serug was born.

Gen 11:21 And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

Serug was born 8,338 years after creation (8,099 + 32 + 207).

Gen 11:22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:

When Serug was 30 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Nahor. The year that Serug died, Nahor was born.

Gen 11:23 And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

Nahor was born 8,568 years after creation (8,338 + 30 + 200).

Gen 11:24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:

When Nahor was 29 years old, he fathered a progenitor of Terah. The year that Nahor died, Terah was born.

Gen 11:25 And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.

Terah was born 8,716 years after creation (8,568 + 29 + 119).

Gen 11:26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Gen 11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

Terah died 8,921 years after creation (8,716 + 205).

Gen 12:4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram [was] seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

Abram was 75 years old when Terah died. This means Abram was born 8,846 years after creation (8,921 - 75).

Gen 21:5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

Isaac was born 8,946 years after creation (8,846 + 100).

Gen 25:26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac [was] threescore years old when she bare them.

Jacob was born 9,006 years after creation (8,946 + 60).

Gen 47:9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage [are] an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

When Jacob was 130 years old, he entered Egypt. The Egyptian sojourn began 9,136 years after creation.

Exd 12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, [was] four hundred and thirty years.

Exd 12:41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

The Israelites left Egypt 9,566 years after creation (9,136 + 430).

1Ki 6:1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which [is] the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

The construction of the temple began 10,046 years after creation (9,566 + 480). This was the fourth year of Solomons reign. This means Solomons reign began 10,042 years after creation (10,046 4).

1Ki 11:42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel [was] forty years.

Solomons reign ended 10,082 years after creation (10,042 + 40).

The death of Solomon was a major event in history. The kingdom was split between the tribes of Israel and Judah. Modern history records this date in our Gregorian calendar as 931 B.C.

The world began in 11,013 B.C. (10,082 + 931).

The flood occurred in 4,990 B.C. (11,013 B.C. + 6,023).

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

In the context of the flood of Noahs day (2Pe 3:3-8) God equates a day with a year.

Gen 7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Before God destroyed the world in Noahs day, He gave seven days warning.

Eze 4:6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

There is biblical authority for counting one day as one year. Seven thousand years from the day of the flood is 2011 (4,990 B.C. + 7,000 [there is no year zero from B.C. to A.D.]).

Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

The seventeenth day of the second month of the Jewish calendar in the year 2,011 corresponds to May 21, 2011 in our Gregorian calendar.

This is biblical evidence that the day of judgment will begin on May 21, 2011.

Arguments Against

[hh]No, the world will not end on May 21, 2011[/hh]

There is a lack of scientific evidence that shows that the bible is an accurate text.
